“Restoring Sight, Restoring Hope.” Why We Need an Eye Centre Thousands of people in our community struggle with poor vision, cataracts, glaucoma, and untreated eye infections. Many children face difficulties in school because of undiagnosed eye problems, while adults lose productivity and independence due to preventable blindness. Currently, specialized eye care services are scarce and expensive, forcing patients to travel long distances or go untreated. An Eye Centre at LY Community Health Centre will change this.

“Saving Lives, One Ride at a Time.” Why We Need an Ambulance Emergencies happen at any time — complications during childbirth, road accidents, severe illnesses. Without a reliable ambulance, patients often face delays reaching higher-level hospitals. These delays can mean the difference between life and death. An ambulance at LY Health Centre will ensure: Quick response to medical emergencies Safe transfer of critical patients to referral hospitals Improved maternal and child survival rates Enhanced community trust in health services Campaign Goal We are mobilizing resources to purchase and equip a fully functional ambulance for LY Health Centre. Target: USD 65,000 (vehicle + equipment + maintenance package)

At LY Health Centre, mothers walk long distances and face overcrowded wards, sometimes even delivering without privacy. Many families risk unsafe home births due to lack of facilities. A dedicated Maternity Block will give mothers a safe space for antenatal care, delivery, and postnatal recovery — protecting both mother and child.
